Turbulent Mixing in Fluids

This two day meeting will bring together a series of experts on turbulent mixing in fluids, with oceanographic and environmental applications.

Theoretical and Experimental

We are bringing together a range a researchers involved in experimental and theoretical modelling of the processes of mixing in stratified fluids, including the effects of background flows, shear flows, and local and distributed sources of buoyancy, combined with a series of researchers involved with observational and field work in a range of different geophysical contexts related to mixing.
